Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Quality Team Leader – QC Engineering to drive quality control across manufacturing and EPC environments. The role leads inspectors and quality professionals, partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Project Management to embed quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, 3+ years in QC Engineering, and proven ability to lead inspection programs, apply SPC/NDT where appropriate, and deliver data-driven improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years of QC Engineering experience.
• Experience leading quality inspection, verification, or quality control activities.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, inspection processes, and QA systems.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, project execution, or industrial operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication; multi-priority capable.
• Ability to influence outcomes through collaboration and sound decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead Quality Control activities and team development across manufacturing and EPC projects.
• Ensure inspection and testing comply with specifications, customer requirements, and standards.
• Monitor quality management systems and operational processes; support NDT/SPC verifications.
• Improve key quality metrics such as FTY, NCRs, and OTD; drive root cause investigations.
• Provide quality leadership during EPC tendering and project execution phases.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, PM, Supply Chain and Customers to meet objectives.
