Job summary

Rivan Industries is expanding to a new 60,000 sq ft facility in London and seeking a Quality Team Lead to set up and maintain robust quality systems from design through production. The role involves leading Quality Engineers and coordinating with Senior Management to drive product excellence.

You will embed quality into early design, roll out procedures for manufacturing, and scale the QA function as operations grow in Bermondsey and beyond. Competitive salary and relocation support offered.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) with ability to select and deploy
• Demonstrated experience establishing and running effective quality management processes on production lines
• Experience managing Quality Engineers
• Ability to report progress accurately to Senior Management
• Proven experience developing quality systems for new product introduction
• Team player with willingness to troubleshoot complex problems
• Deep understanding of complete production quality processes
• Unmatched drive to improve the quality systems and accelerate manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) across manufacturing and R&D.
• Define and roll out quality procedures and testing for production.
• Embed quality considerations within design cycles alongside R&D teams.
• Review and optimise existing quality/testing procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Inspect manufactured systems and raise NCRs when necessary.
• Oversee Quality Engineers and provide guidance as the team scales.
• Report progress and issues to Senior Management and Manufacturing Director.
