SYOS is establishing a new UK production facility and seeks a hands-on Quality Manager to design and implement the quality system from scratch across wire harness manufacture and assembly.

You will work with NZ teams to translate NPI into production-ready quality processes, lead a growing quality team, and embed quality into every production stage, ensuring traceability, inspection, and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Hands-on production quality experience in complex assembly/manufacturing.
• Experience building a quality function/systems from the ground up.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and audit cycles.
• PFMEA experience with linkage to Control Plans.
• Experience across multiple production streams/complex manufacturing.
• FAI, PPAP, calibration management, NCR/CAPA processes.
• Proven people leadership: recruiting, training, development.
• Self-starter mindset: build systems, own issues.
• Strong cross-functional communication.

Responsabilidades

• Review the NPI handover package and identify production readiness requirements.
• Confirm MBOM-to-EBOM alignment before production begins.
• Own the open issues register through to closure before PTR.
• Facilitate PFMEA reviews and link controls to the Control Plan.
• Author and approve Control Plans with traceability to PFMEA.
• Establish the site QMS aligned with ISO 9001 and SOPs; own hold points and quality controls.
• Implement QA infrastructure: records, inspection, calibration registers, NCR processes.
• Define quality team structure and oversee harness quality requirements.
• Lead FAI for new parts and own PPAP end-to-end.
• Lead Production Trial Run in collaboration with Production/ME.
• Own NCR management and CAPA; coordinate with SQE for supplier quality.
• Obtain and maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification and support AS9100 progression.
