Job summary

Progressive Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Quality Engineer to lead the build of a new manufacturing site. You will establish the Quality Management System (QMS), implement quality controls, and drive ISO 9001 accreditation to support early production and site readiness.

With strong automotive or high-volume manufacturing experience, you will guide NPI programmes, APQP/PPAP activities and robust process documentation to ensure right-first-time quality across the facility.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent.
• Proven experience implementing or improving QMS frameworks.
• Strong APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and control plan knowledge.
• Experience writing quality procedures and manufacturing documentation.
• Lead/Internal Auditor qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the site's QMS and QA/QC framework.
• Create quality procedures, work instructions, control plans and inspection strategies.
• Lead ISO 9001 certification and audit readiness activities.
• Support NPI, APQP and PPAP activities across the product lifecycle.
• Develop PFMEAs, process flows, control plans and quality documentation.
• Establish non-conformance, CAPA and traceability systems.
• Support manufacturing readiness and production launch activities.
• Train and mentor teams on quality standards and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and structured problem-solving tools.
• Promote a right-first-time quality culture across operations.
