Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer in Plymouth, Devon. The role focuses on owning and improving the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and driving continuous improvement across a manufacturing site.

You will plan audits, support external certifications, lead non-conformance investigations and drive corrective actions. Expect a structured, long-term site role with development opportunities and a merit-based bonus.

Qualifications

• ISO Internal Auditor qualification and strong working knowledge of ISO 9001.
• Experience maintaining/improving a QMS within the manufacturing/engineering industry (or similar).
• Comfortable engaging stakeholders and driving corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal audits and support external certifications.
• Lead non-conformance investigations and drive corrective actions (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA).
• Monitor KPIs and support continuous improvement activities across site.
• Take ownership of the QMS and drive improvements within a manufacturing environment.
