Are you experienced in quality engineering centered around quality control and continuous improvement? As a Quality Surveillance and Improvement Engineer, you will be required to focus on supporting and enhancing the quality of work on-site through mentoring, training, and surveillance.
Bouygues Travaux Publics (TP) and Laing O'Rourke, two of Europe's most dynamic engineering and construction specialists, are working together in a joint venture named BYLOR to deliver the main civil engineering works at Hinkley Point C (HPC) worth over £2.8 billion. As a Quality Surveillance and Improvement Engineer, you will be required to complete surveillance in targeted areas, identifying where support is needed for site personnel. You will ensure that Quality Control is implemented, maintained, and improved within these areas, engaging in initiatives that lead to the successful, sustained improvement of quality systems and product delivery.
Additionally, you will carry out surveillance on high-risk activities such as Post Tensioning, Active Anchorage, Halfen Channel installation, and precast and prefabricated works, ensuring all processes and Quality Control measures are adhered to.
This role is key to maintaining the company's reputation for high-quality work. Vigilance, collaboration, and dedication are crucial to the success of this position. The role involves being a proactive member of the “Joint Quality Improvement Team (JQIT),” led by the client organization.
