North East and North Cumbria Integrated Care Board is seeking an experienced Quality and Safety Manager to support quality assurance, governance, and patient safety across commissioned services. The post involves analysing complex information, producing clear reports, managing quality risks, and contributing to quality improvement activities with providers, safeguarding teams and system partners.

This hybrid role requires travel across the region and reports to the Senior Quality and Safety

Qualifikationen

• Evidence of sustained personal & professional development
• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
• Master's level qualification or equivalent experience
• Health care experience is essential with a demonstrable track record of success in NHS organisation
• Experience in the management of multi-project programmes of work.
• Experience in performance management approaches including analysis of data and performance reporting.
• Clinical Registration – NMC/HCPC
• Whole systems management
• Experience of commissioning and oversight and assurance / regulatory organisations

Aufgaben

• Support the implementation and monitoring of the ICB's Quality Strategy and associated work programmes.
• Contribute to quality assurance, quality improvement and patient safety across commissioned services.
• Develop effective relationships with providers and stakeholders.
• Support identification, escalation and management of quality risks and concerns.
• Maintain effective quality systems, contribute to monitoring and reporting arrangements, and prepare reports for senior leaders and committees.
• Analyse and interpret complex and sensitive information from a range of sources, presenting findings clearly to support assurance, governance, risk management and improvement.
• Contribute to service reviews, audits and improvement activities, supporting recommendations and action plans that promote learning and improve standards of care.
• Work with colleagues across quality, commissioning and safeguarding, provider organisations and system partners to strengthen quality monitoring, improvement planning and the management of quality concerns.
