Job summary

McLaren Automotive seeks a Quality Engineer - Problem Management to join our high-performance Quality team. You will act as the voice of the customer, drive robust issue resolution across vehicle programmes, and own module quality metrics from definition to delivery.

Based in our Technical Quality Problem Management function, you will collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Vehicle Programme, Supplier Quality, Validation and Aftersales to embed a quality-focused culture and deliver

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in quality engineering, problem management or product development.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with stakeholders.
• Strong automotive quality management understanding.

Responsibilities

• Act as quality SME for assigned programmes, voice of the customer.
• Own definition, tracking and delivery of module quality metrics and targets.
• Manage quality deliverables for complex vehicle systems and modules.
• Lead problem management within the Product Problem Management process.
• Monitor containment, corrective actions and permanent resolutions.
• Utilise quality tools to support module teams in achieving programme quality.
• Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Aftersales.
• Capture and deploy lessons learned to inform development and validation.
