Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd is seeking a Quality professional to support the introduction of New Models into our manufacturing process. The role covers initial planning, pre-series and through to series production to ensure quality processes align with project deliverables.

You will work in a cross-functional environment with PMO, Engineering, Corporate Quality, Logistics and Launch to drive robust control plans, torque audits and data-driven reporting across all build phases.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle launches and a solid understanding of Manufacturing Quality requirements in a vehicle launch.
• Proficient in quality management systems including fault management systems.
• Experience with system design and process mapping.
• Strong understanding of problem-solving techniques and quality tools (5Y, Ishikawa).
• Proficient in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust control plans using data inputs to support consistent process execution.
• Create and maintain process documentation for inspection, verification and validation activities.
• Ensure all LEG‑SOS requirements are aligned with build process needs.
• Lead management of quality concerns identified during build phases to drive resolution.
• Assess and report readiness for build phases and manage the quality problem landscape.
• Drive improvements in fault detection methodology through cycles of identified issues via gateways.
• Engage with manufacturing stakeholders to manage the problem landscape for all manufacturing owned issues.
