Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Quality Manager to lead a robust quality function for a major hydro-electric project in the Scottish Highlands. You will define the Quality Management framework, drive assurance activities, and ensure certification readiness across engineering, construction, and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a Quality Manager role within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, assurance processes, and compliance.
• Experience managing audits, inspections, and certification of works.
• Proven track record of managing non-conformance processes and driving quality improvements.
• Experience managing document control systems and procedures.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the project Quality Management framework, including plans, procedures, and systems.
• Lead and manage quality teams including Quality Engineers and Document Control
• Establish and oversee the project assurance regime, ensuring all work is compliant and certifiable
• Plan and conduct audits, inspections, and surveillance activities across the project
• Manage Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring timely approval and completion
• Oversee non-conformance processes, ensuring issues are tracked, resolved, and closed effectively
• Manage document control processes, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance
• Support the production of handover documentation including O&M manuals and H&S files
• Analyse quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead lessons learned sessions and implement quality improvement strategies
• Provide expert advice and coaching on quality across project teams and stakeholders
• Ensure governance requirements are met, including GDPR/Data Protection where applicable
