Qualifications

• Significant experience in regulated industries as Mechanical/Manufacturing Inspector or Quality Engineer.
• Experience inspecting fabricated and welded equipment.
• Strong understanding of welding, fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Experience reviewing NDT activities and procedures.
• Experience managing or reviewing non-conformance processes.
• Experience compiling or approving LTQR packages.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical inspections throughout manufacture, assembly and testing activities.
• Witness hold points and inspection stages per ITPs.
• Verify compliance against drawings, specs, procedures, codes and customer requirements.
• Review manufacturing records and evidence for compliance.
• Assess workmanship standards and identify quality risks before NCRs.
• Produce inspection reports and communicate findings clearly.
• Guide suppliers in LTQR development and packaging.
• Review quality documentation for completeness and traceability.
• Coach supplier personnel on traceability, records and document control.
• Identify documentation gaps and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Review supplier NCRs and assist root cause analysis.
