Quality Manager - Power


£70,000 - £85,000 + Benefits


Southeast England


This is a Quality Manager / QA Manager position covering multiple Power and Energy from Waste (EfW) sites across the Southeast, ensuring robust quality management systems and compliance across construction, commissioning, and operational phases.


The role holder will develop, implement, and oversee quality management frameworks, working closely with project teams, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure that all works meet stringent quality standards. You will act as the key driver of continuous improvement and quality culture across all projects and operational sites.


Role & Responsibilities
  1. Develop and manage quality assurance systems in line with ISO 9001 and sector-specific standards.
  2. Conduct regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
  3. Manage non-conformance reporting, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  4. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to embed quality best practices throughout the lifecycle of each project.
  5. Produce and maintain quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and audit reports.
  6. Provide quality-related training and mentorship to site teams and contractors.
  7. Ensure robust document control and traceability of all quality-related activities.
