Visum Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an established manufacturer to appoint a Quality Manager to lead the Quality team. You will own the quality process, drive improvement, and work with Sales, Technical and Operations to deliver effective solutions.

The role suits an ambitious quality professional stepping into first-line management with at least 4–5 years in manufacturing/engineering. ISO 9001 knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 4–5 years’ experience in manufacturing, engineering or technical environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, auditing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience using 8D, FMEA, SPC and control plans.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and use measurement equipment.
• Degree-qualified or equivalent industry experience.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop the Quality team; manage day-to-day quality processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Manage complex customer complaints and quality investigations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to investigate issues and drive corrective actions.
• Lead product risk, containment and recall assessments.
• Maintain the Quality Management System and ISO 9001 certification.
• Analyse quality data and identify opportunities for improvement.
