Job summary

RHI Magnesita is seeking a Quality Manager at its Leicestershire site to own the QMS lifecycle, audits, NCR/CAR handling and document control. The role requires travel to European plant network and leadership of site laboratory practices.

Responsibilities include maintaining ISO 9001, supervising the lab and staff, and driving process improvements with ASTM/API methods. Collaboration with R&D and the European Quality team is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining ISO 9001 certification.
• Experience leading internal and external audits.
• Proven ability to monitor and report KPIs to management.
• Laboratory management including staff and workflow supervision.
• Supplier management of raw materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality management system to ISO9001 standard.
• Oversee laboratory operations, staff and workflow to meet timelines.
• Lead daily KPI reporting to Newbold site management and monthly KPI reviews.
• Mentor R&D apprentice.
• Ensure processes align with ASTM standards.
