Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead and develop the QC function at the Leek site. You will oversee laboratory operations, ensure compliant testing and release of materials, and drive continuous improvement in quality systems.

The role requires managing budgets, forecasting, and coordinating with suppliers and customers to resolve quality issues and maintain high standards. Training and developing the QC team are essential components of the position.

Qualifications

• Lead and manage the site's QC system and laboratory operations, ensuring testing, inspection, and release of materials.
• Oversee QC resources, equipment maintenance, consumables, and budgeting, including forecasting.
• Develop and maintain QC team capability through coaching, training and competency management.

Responsibilities

• Manage product and material specifications and inspection data to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support supplier qualification activities for raw materials and collaborate with suppliers.
• Lead investigation and resolution of customer complaints with corrective actions.
• Support ISO 14001 environmental management system and internal audit program.
