Job summary

Talentmark is recruiting a Quality Manager for a Pharmaceutical Services Company in Central Belt Scotland. This 12-month fixed-term contract role offers Mon-Fri daytime hours with hybrid working.

You will lead the quality function to ensure GMP, GLP, and ISO 17025 compliance and be the primary contact for MHRA, FDA, and client audits. You should hold a life sciences degree and have substantial quality management experience in contract labs or pharmaceutical environments, with a proven track

Qualifications

• Degree in a life sciences discipline or equivalent.
• Substantial quality management experience in a contract laboratory, CRO, or pharmaceutical environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, GLP, ISO 17025, and related pharmaceutical standards.
• Track record of regulatory inspections (MHRA, FDA) and client audit management.
• Proven experience leading and enhancing QMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, develop, and improve the QMS in line with GMP/GLP/ISO 17025 and client requirements.
• Oversee document control and ensure SOPs, policies, and records reflect best practice.
• Lead internal audits, management reviews, and risk assessments; embed quality across work.
• Manage deviations, non-conformances, CAPAs, and change controls to closure.
• Act as lead contact for regulatory inspections (MHRA, FDA) and client audits.
• Support client projects and technical discussions to align with quality expectations.
