Energy Jobline CVL in the Southend-on-Sea area is seeking a Quality Manager to drive quality performance across the business, supporting production, customers and regulatory requirements. The role involves maintaining the AS9100 system, audits, and leading a team of inspectors in a busy manufacturing environment. A strong background in quality management and leadership is essential to deliver continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments with quality control focus.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 quality requirements and standards.
• Experience creating, reviewing and approving FAIRs/LAIRs and administering VisualFAIR.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Creating, reviewing and approving FAIRs and LAIRs.
• Supporting and administering VisualFAIR documentation.
• Planning and conducting internal audits.
• Supporting customer and external audits.
• Managing calibration, testing and qualification activities.
• Leading and supporting a small team of inspectors.
• Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participating in management review meetings and supporting wider business objectives.
