Job summary

Belcan in Warwick is seeking a Quality Manager in Projects for a maternity cover contract. You will drive a customer-focused quality culture across complex projects, providing leadership, supporting continuous improvement, and managing non-conformance within the Project Customer Quality team.

This 6-month rolling contract offers exposure to end-to-end project quality activities, with audits, risk management, and Quality Gates to ensure compliance with customer and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in project quality management and quality assurance.
• Knowledge of audits, CAPA, root cause analysis, and risk management.
• Experience working within engineering, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or project-led environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead project quality planning and assurance activities.
• Develop and oversee Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.
• Define, monitor, and report project quality KPIs.
• Drive root cause analysis, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support audits, risk management, and non-conformance management processes.
• Approve Quality Gates and ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Partner with Project Managers and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Manager in Projects to join their Project Customer Quality team on a maternity cover contract 6-month rolling contract (potential extension up to 2 years).

The Role

As a Quality Manager in Projects, you'll be a key member of the project team, driving a customer-focused quality culture across complex projects. You'll provide quality leadership, support continuous improvement initiatives, manage non-conformance activities, and ensure projects meet both customer and business quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project quality planning and assurance activities
• Develop and oversee Quality Management Plans and Inspection & Test Plans
• Define, monitor, and report project quality KPIs
• Drive root cause analysis, CAPA activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support audits, risk management, and non-conformance management processes

Decides the level of the Quality Management Support for the project that may include but not limited to:

• Quality Management Plan
• Quality Dossiers
