Job summary

MCS Group | Your Specialist Recruitment Consultancy is recruiting a Quality Manager for a leading manufacturing business. You will own quality systems, drive continuous improvement, and work closely with production and senior management on-site in Strabane.

The role requires strong knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP and BRC, plus experience with external audits, audits, NCRs, and training delivery. On-site Monday to Friday with a focus on LEAN improvements and health & safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management systems (ISO 9001, HACCP, BRC)
• Experience with external audits and non-conformance management
• Proven leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Manufacturing/production experience advantageous
• LEAN, Environmental or H&S experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage and continually improve the Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BRC/IOP and HACCP standards.
• Manage audits, non-conformances, corrective actions and quality documentation.
• Work closely with Production and Maintenance to resolve quality issues.
• Deliver quality training and monitor production quality standards.
• Support customer, supplier and external audits.
• Manage quality testing and equipment calibration.
• Drive continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives.
• Contribute to wider Health & Safety and Environmental responsibilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality professional to take ownership of quality systems, drive continuous improvement and work closely with production and senior management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and continually improve the Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BRC/IOP and HACCP standards.
• Manage audits, non-conformances, corrective actions and quality documentation.
• Work closely with Production and Maintenance to resolve quality issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Quality Management, QA or QC role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP and BRC.
• Experience with external audits and non-conformance management.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience leading teams and delivering training.
• Manufacturing/production experience advantageous.
• LEAN, Environmental or H&S experience desirable.
• Good Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work fully on-site, Monday to Friday.
