Job summary

Zest is seeking a Quality Manager for a key site in the South East of England. The role leads the quality function, owns the QMS, and drives audit readiness with BRC and customers.

You will partner with Production, Technical and Operations teams to secure food safety and quality across the site. The ideal candidate has prior quality/technical experience in food manufacturing, strong HACCP/BRC knowledge, and proven audits leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality or Technical role within food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of BRC, retailer standards and HACCP.
• Experience leading audits and managing quality systems.
• Previous team leadership experience.
• Chilled food or RTE experience would be advantageous.
• A hands-on, proactive approach with excellent communication skills.

We're working with a well-known chilled food manufacturer to recruit a Quality Manager into a key site leadership position.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an established Quality Manager or a strong QA Supervisor/QA Team Leader ready to step into management and take ownership of site quality, food safety and audit compliance.

The Role
