Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead a team in a high volume manufacturing environment. You will be the primary contact for customer concerns and drive 8D actions, while maintaining ISO 9001 compliant QA systems.

Candidates should have an HNC or technical degree, proven leadership, and a strong background in lean Six Sigma and problem solving. The role is based in Milton Keynes with a competitive package including pension and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Lead a team of Quality professionals in a high volume manufacturing environment
• First point of contact for all external and internal customer concerns
• Instigation of 8D activity following customer concern and delegation of work to team thereafter
• Managment and audit quality systems and processes to ISO9001 standard
• Utilise data of quality defects to improve quality processes

Experience

You will already be a competent Quality professional with proven management experience within a high volume manufacturing environment.

• HNC/ Degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional level qualification
• Excellent knowledge of quality systems with particular focus on ISO9001
• Strong communicator internally and in liaison with demanding customers
• Route Cause Analysis and structured problem solving tools : 8D, MSA, 5Why, Ishikowa
• Background in volume regulated manufacturing sector : automotive, aerospace, metals, medical devices or similar
• Excellent grasp of lean six sigma tools : green belt certification desirable
• Demonstrate leadership ability to coach and build self confidence in team
