Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Quality Manager in Southend to uphold aerospace quality through ISO 9100/AS9100 compliance. You will lead the Inspection team and act as the company's quality representative, ensuring calibration, testing and FAIR/LAIR reporting meet requirements.

Strong communication skills and a proactive approach are essential to drive continuous improvement across production and design teams. This permanent, full-time position offers up to £50,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience managing QMS and ISO 9100/AS9100 compliance.
• Audits—internal and external—to ISO9100/AS9100 requirements.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Lead inspection activities and ensure calibration/testing standards.
• Strong communication with production and design teams.

Quality Manager

Remuneration: Up to £50,000 per annum

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager who is passionate about maintaining excellence in manufacturing processes. This is your chance to shine in a pivotal role that directly influences quality and compliance!

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and maintenance of Quality Management Systems, ensuring adherence to ISO 9100/AS9100 standards.
• Lead the Inspection team, serving as the company's management representative in all quality matters.
• Ensure all calibration, testing, and qualification activities meet business standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct inspection and verification of parts at various stages of production.
• Maintain calibrated equipment in readiness for manufacturing.
• Train staff in VisualFAIR software as per Customer/Design Authority Approval Requirements.
• Create and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and Layout Inspection Reports (LAIR) to specification.
• Plan and conduct internal and external audits to ISO9100 and AS9100 standards.
• Drive continuous improvement within your team, identifying performance concerns and development opportunities.
• Communicate daily workload effectively, ensuring discipline and teamwork.
• Participate in management review meetings, collaborating with the Production Team.
