Job summary

Cranleigh STEM & Sustainability Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager for an established engineering and manufacturing business. This leadership role oversees QA/QC across manufacturing, assembly, testing and final product delivery, managing a quality team and improving the Quality Management System.

You will work with Operations, Engineering, customers and suppliers to drive quality performance, lead audits, tackle non-conformances and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Proven Quality Management experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and lead auditor training.
• Experience within machining, fabrication or multi-disciplinary manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement skills.
• Previous experience managing quality teams and engaging with customers and suppliers.
• An engineering or technical qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continually improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring continued compliance.

• Hours: 37 hours per week | Monday-Friday | Flexi-time Available
• Working Arrangement: Office/Site-Based

We're recruiting a Quality Manager for an established engineering and manufacturing business operating within a highly technical, project-driven environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control across manufacturing, assembly, testing and final product delivery.

You'll manage a quality team, maintain and improve the Quality Management System and work closely with Operations, Engineering, customers and suppliers to drive quality performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and continually improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System


• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring continued compliance


• Oversee quality inspection, testing and final product acceptance


• Manage non-conformances, root cause investigations and corrective actions


• Drive supplier quality performance and support supplier audits

About You:
