Job summary

Saxton Recruitment is seeking a Quality Manager for a Tier 1 contractor, delivering design and build projects in Cambridgeshire (£10m–£100m). The role requires strong document control capabilities, site inspection duties, and ensuring QA standards across multi-project environments.

Ideal candidates will have Tier 1/2 contractor background, excellent IT and communication skills, and the ability to implement robust quality processes across education, commercial, and defence sectors.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of document control systems/software.

• Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
• Excellent IT skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site inspections and support the delivery team.
• Advise the Project Team on quality or design detailing issues.
• Assist with reviewing Supply Chain Inspection and Test Plans.
• Set and uphold the company quality standards.

Quality Manager - Tier 1 Contractor (Construction)

Quality Manager - a Top 10 contractor is searching for a Quality Manager to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Manager to work on major design and build projects across the Cambridgeshire ranging from £10m to £100m.

Requirements

• A technical knowledge in the use of document control systems / software

• Experience working for Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
• Excellent I.T skills and communication skills

The Package

• Great basic salary of £62,500 - £67,500
• Company car or allowance (£7,500)
• Performance related bonus (10%)
• Excellent holiday allowance

To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record working as a Quality Manager to deliver D&B projects of £20m+.
