A global fast-paced manufacturing company is looking for a Quality Manager to join their team at their impressive site in the Greater London area, Enfield.

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, adaptable, and personable Quality Manager with a strong technical background within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operating in a busy environment and reporting to the Senior QESH Manager, you will have strong experience managing a Quality team in a similar facility. This is a fantastic opportunity with a global company that offers excellent progression possibilities.

The Quality department currently operates on a straight day shift pattern, with a 37.5-hour work week, five days in the office.

Role: Quality Manager

Location: Greater London, Enfield

Salary: £60,000 - £67,000

Working Hours: 37.5 per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of Quality Standards and Food Safety policies in partnership with Production teams.
• Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and the company’s Code of Practice.
• Report to the QESH Senior Manager and contribute to a wider European Quality network.
• Drive system improvements, roll out key initiatives, and share best practices across multiple regions.
• Manage and develop a Quality team of seven, including Quality Assurance Leads, QA Coordinators, and Laboratory Analysts.
• Communicate effectively with shop-floor staff and adopt a hands-on approach.

Requirements:

• Experience working within food or beverage manufacturing environments.
• Overseeing compliance with legislation and risk management protocols.
• Handling consumer and customer complaints effectively.
• Leading teams responsible for quality testing and analytical processes.
• A hands-on approach with clear communication skills.
• Previous quality and team management experience is essential.
• A graduate with Chemistry/Food-related qualifications is preferred.
