Job summary

Bowmay Consulting is partnering with a growing textile manufacturer in Dundee, Scotland, to appoint an experienced Quality Control Manager on a permanent basis. You will own the day-to-day quality function and drive improvements across the quality system while delivering reliable products that meet customer expectations.

You’ll manage in-process QC, product testing and release, maintain ISO 9001 QMS, and lead supplier quality audits.

Qualifications

• Strong background in textile manufacturing (wet or dry processing).
• Proven experience as Quality Manager, QC Manager, Quality & Technical Manager or similar.
• Experience managing or supervising a team.
• Laboratory testing, in-process QC, chemical compliance/COSHH and final inspection and product release.
• Able to improve processes and raise standards across the quality function.

• Take responsibility for day-to-day quality function and ensure products meet standards.
• Manage in-process QC, final inspection, product testing and release.
• Maintain and develop the ISO 9001 QMS.
• Manage customer relationships and support customer quality requirements.
• Conduct supplier quality audits.

We’re partnering with a growing and well-established textile manufacturer in Dundee, Scotland, who are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Control Manager on a permanent basis.

About You

• First and foremost, you’ll have a strong background in textile manufacturing, whether that’s within wet or dry processing
• You’ll have proven experience in a similar role such as Quality Manager, QC Manager, Quality & Technical Manager or a senior quality position and be ready to take the next step
• Ideally, you’ll have previous experience of managing or supervising a team
• Your technical experience will include laboratory and technical testing, in-process QC, chemical compliance/COSHH and final inspection and product release
• You’ll be someone who naturally looks for ways to improve processes, raise standards and solve problems
