Job summary

TWI Certification Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Section Manager - Quality to lead the Quality Team and maintain the QMS across products and services. This role will act as line-lead for the Quality Team and drive implementation of their objectives.

You will oversee audits, ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements, and report outcomes to senior leadership. Travel within the UK and abroad is required.

Description of role: The Quality Manager - ensures TWI Cert products & services consistently meet quality standards, overseeing processes, implementing procedures, and monitoring performance to maintain high quality and customer satisfaction. In addition to the management and maintenance of TWI Cert’s Quality Management System (QMS), the role will act as the line-lead for the Quality Team (as well as other staff as required and listed below) and the successful implementation of their role requirements and objectives.

Quality Management Activities
  • Responsible for Review, update, maintain and manage the QMS to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Arrange and conduct audits on TWI Cert‘s Examining Bodies, Venues and Approved Training Bodies (ATB) to ensure compliance with TWI Cert requirements in the UK and globally.
  • Manage and maintain TWI Certification UKAS accreditation and other relevant external bodies (e.g. EWF/IIW_ and participate and respond to audits Participate and respond to internal audits on TWI Cert to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide advice and assistance in meeting Ofqual requirements.
  • Report on outcome of audits and performance of the management system (including necessary improvements) to senior leadership.
  • Conflict and relationship management with key stakeholders.
  • Managing Appeals and Complaints. Misconduct cases.
  • Manage the internal Risk Register.
People Management Activities
  • Train, manage, and support Quality Team in their duties.
  • Provide information on compliance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Overseeing marketing activities under this remit.
  • Overseeing Health and Safety audit requirements from external parties (e.g., 45001, 14001).

Travel: This position will require travel both in the UK and abroad.
