Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Quality Manager for a manufacturing/fabrication environment where precision matters. You will take full ownership of the Quality Management System, ensuring ISO 9001 compliance and driving FAI documentation and weld-related quality control.

You will lead internal and external quality audits, manage non-conformances, and act as the main quality contact for customers while continuously improving processes. The role offers standard benefits and onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in manufacturing or fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and processes.
• Background in welding quality management, including WPS and PQR administration.
• Experience leading root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Confident communicator as primary quality contact for customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continually improve the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001
• Lead internal and external quality audits, including certification and customer assessments
• Manage First Article Inspection documentation, including weld maps, material certificates and inspection reports
• Oversee welding quality records, including WPSs, PQRs and welder qualification records
• Lead non-conformance investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions
• Manage supplier quality performance, including audits and supplier corrective action requests
