Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd have partnered with an industry leading manufacturing business in the Newcastle area to recruit a Quality Manager reporting directly to the Quality Director. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong technical quality background, exceptional auditing capability and the ability to influence quality standards across the operation.

You will own the QMS (IATF 16949), coordinate external and customer audits, lead internal quality improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma, and

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive manufacturing or similarly demanding production environments.
• Proven ability to lead quality teams and manage QMS
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and IATF 16949 Lead Auditor qualifications are desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the site Quality Management System (QMS) ensuring IATF 16949 compliance.
• Coordinate all external, customer and supplier audits.
• Act as the primary quality representative during customer visits and quality meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and supervise 5S and operational excellence.
• Lead root cause investigations and present quality performance to senior leadership.
