Job summary

Unipart Coventry seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead the quality strategy across high‑volume electrification assembly and injection moulding inputs. You will establish QMS, drive regulatory compliance (AS9100, ISO 9001) and ensure robust supplier and product assurance in a fast-paced project environment.

Qualifications

• Proven Quality Leadership in high-precision manufacturing, automotive, aerospace or defence.
• In-depth knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001, AQAP 2110 and DEF STANs.
• Hands-on quality experience across electro-mechanical integration, injection moulding tolerances and welding.
• Expert in advanced quality planning tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA and root-cause analysis (8D/5-Why).

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality strategy, QMS and KPIs across NPI and production.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 and UK MoD standards (AQAP 2110/DEF STAN).
• Oversee quality for electrification safety, injection moulding tolerances, and welding.
• Manage 8D problem solving, concessions, PPAP and audit frameworks with customers and suppliers.
• Align all quality activities with SHE requirements and security standards.
