Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Lead for a Birmingham-based aerospace manufacturer. The role reports to the Operations Director and focuses on ensuring products meet customer requirements, regulatory standards and the company’s AS9100 QMS.

You will lead a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians, drive CAPA and RCA investigations, support internal audits, supplier quality and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce COPQ and non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years leading quality teams in aerospace manufacturing.
• Lead Auditor qualification or QBE and AS9100/QMS knowledge.
• Strong RCA, CAPA and 8D problem-solving experience.

Responsibilities

• Leading and coaching a team of Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
• Ensuring products meet engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements; monitoring compliance to AS9100.
