Quality Lead - Apprenticeships & Work Based Learning

Are you a quality assurance expert with a drive for continuous improvement?

Do you have a passion for ensuring excellence in education and training?

We are looking for a Quality Lead to take charge of driving high standards across our apprenticeship programmes.

We seek an experienced and motivated Quality Lead to join our construction team. Working with the Work Based Learning Manager, you will manage a small team of assessors across Carpentry, Brickwork, and Maintenance Operations apprenticeship Standards. You will monitor programme delivery, ensure KPI’s are exceeded, and implement interventions to enhance performance.

Ideally, you will have a background in teaching, assessing, or quality assurance within construction education. Alternatively, demonstrate strong knowledge of apprenticeship Standards delivery, with the ability to motivate and support staff to achieve high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead ongoing quality improvement across apprenticeship programmes.
  2. Provide overarching quality assurance for full-time provisions, ensuring top-tier performance.
  3. Motivate and manage a team to achieve excellent outcomes for learners.
  4. Analyze data and produce reports to inform decisions and drive improvements.
  5. Participate actively in learner review processes.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in leading quality assurance.
  2. Deep understanding of the current apprenticeship system.
  3. Strong leadership and people management skills.
  4. Excellent report writing and data analysis skills.
  5. Experience collaborating with apprentices and employers to ensure timely achievement.
