Job summary

Algeco UK Limited in Wigan is seeking a Quality Inspector to inspect all modular units before hire, ensuring they meet our quality standard and documenting any defects for correction prior to dispatch.

You will provide constructive feedback, educate depot staff on quality expectations, and assist with getting units ready, which may include light fitting and working at height. IT systems knowledge is welcomed; the role offers sociable hours and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Knowledge of using IT systems.
• Previous quality inspector experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspection of units and their products against company standards and customer requirements before they go on hire.
• Ensure defects are corrected and documented prior to dispatch.
• Providing feedback in a constructive manner.
• Educating depot staff on what good looks like and how defects relate to quality standards.
• Some working and inspecting at height.
• Supporting depot staff in getting units ready, including cleaning and basic fitting tasks if skills allow.
