Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Quality Inspector (Mechanical) in Basildon to inspect components and sub-assemblies using micrometers, calipers and gauges. You will document results and work with the engineering team to maintain quality records in a high precision manufacturing environment.

The role involves identifying defects, ensuring compliance with drawings and tolerances, and contributing to a structured in-house training program with early finish Fridays and pension

Qualifications

• Experience in an ISO9001 environment.

In this role you will be responsible for conducting inspections, performing precision measurements using micrometres, callipers and gauges, and working closely with engineering team to maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and related documents.
