Job summary

UK Space Jobs in Bristol is seeking a Quality Inspector from a precision background with ISO9001 experience to join a leading aerospace manufacturer. This days-based role runs from 7:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday, with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays and 1.5x overtime to boost earnings.

You will collaborate with Quality, Production and Engineering teams, inspecting a range of components using CMM/FARO Arm and conventional measuring equipment, with training provided for CMM programming.

Qualifications

• Quality Inspector from a precision environment with experience in ISO9001.
• Experience with precision inspection and measurement procedures.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components and welded assemblies.
• Use CMM/FARO Arm and conventional measuring equipment to verify conformance.
• Work with Quality, Production and Engineering teams to meet quality standards.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x; regular hours 7:30am–4:30pm, Fridays finish at 12:30pm.

This growing company has specialised in manufacturing specialist components for the Aerospace, Defence, Automotive and Oil and Gas industries for over 50 years. Through recent investment they are expanding across the board to keep up with the high demand.

In this role you will be working with the Quality, Production and Engineering teams to ensure all components and welding meet specified requirements. This role will involve using CMM/FARO Arm to check components as well as using conventional measuring equipment. Training will be provided on programming specific CMM and equipment. This is a Monday to Friday job working from 7:30am to 4:30pm with 12:30pm finishes on a Friday. All overtime is paid at an enhanced rate of 1.5x.

This role would a Quality Inspector looking for a stable role with a longstanding specialist manufacturer who offer a days-only role with great benefits, plenty of training and the chance to greatly increase your earnings.
