Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting a Quality Inspector (Manufacturing) to join a leading aerospace manufacturer in the Bristol area. The role focuses on inspecting machined components and welded assemblies using CMM and traditional measuring tools.

Overtime is paid at 1.5x, with a Monday–Friday day shift and a 12:30 finish on Fridays. Candidates should have a background as a quality inspector in manufacturing and be proficient with CMM equipment, including FARO Arm, to support production

Qualifications

• Quality inspector with manufacturing experience and strong attention to detail.
• Experience using CMM to inspect machined components.
• Familiar with conventional measuring equipment and CMM tooling.

This growing company has specialised in manufacturing specialist components for the Aerospace, Defence, Automotive and Oil and Gas industries for over 50 years. Through recent investment they are expanding across the board to keep up with the high demand.

In this role you will be working with the Quality, Production and Engineering teams to ensure all components and welding meet specified requirements. This role will involve using CMM/FARO Arm to check components as well as using conventional measuring equipment. Training will be provided on programming specific CMM and equipment. This is a Monday to Friday job working from 7:30am to 4:30pm with 12:30pm finishes on a Friday. All overtime is paid at an enhanced rate of 1.5x.

This role would a Quality Inspector looking for a stable role with a longstanding specialist manufacturer who offer a days-only role with great benefits, plenty of training and the chance to greatly increase your earnings.
