Job summary

Alternative Heat Ltd, headquartered at Banbridge, invites applications for a permanent, full-time Quality Inspector. You will oversee M&E fabrication quality, perform FATs, and maintain traceability in the IMS system, reporting to the Quality Control Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection within fabrication environments.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and QA procedures.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and perform FAT inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production processes to ensure M&E products meet quality standards.
• Conduct stage inspections and FATs, escalate quality issues to Quality Control Manager.
• Maintain traceability of production items via the electronic quality system (IMS).
• Perform paint inspections, modular fit-outs, plantroom installations, and torque validation.
• Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation for audits and client reviews.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement quality improvements.
