Job summary

Rose 360 in Nottingham is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our established engineering client. The role is permanent, with a Monday to Friday daytime shift from 10:00am to 6:00pm, paid £13.00–£16.00 per hour, DOE, with overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours.

You will inspect manufactured components, read engineering drawings, perform first-off, in-process and final inspections, report issues to the production team, use measurement equipment, and help maintain high quality standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect manufactured and fabricated components.
• Read engineering drawings and interpret specifications.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Liaise with the production team to report issues.
• Use measurement equipment to verify dimensions.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain quality documentation.
