Job summary

KS Composites in Old Dalby, LE14 3NQ, is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure components meet the highest quality standards. You will perform mechanical and visual inspections against drawings and CAD data, and use measuring equipment to ensure accuracy.

The role requires collaboration with production and despatch to uphold consistent outputs. The position is permanent, full-time, with a 6am to 6pm shift and a 4 days on/4 days off pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical inspection of components against drawings and CAD data.
• Perform detailed visual inspections to customer standards (carbon fibre and paint/finish).
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
• Maintain and check measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Work with Stores and Despatch to support smooth material flow.
• Provide feedback on non-conformances and scrap to support improvements.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and contribute to improvements.
