Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is partnering with a well‑established engineering company in Preston to recruit a Quality Inspector (Aerospace). £35,000 - £40,000 plus a 4-day working week, enhanced holidays and pension, with overtime opportunities.

Training to Quality Engineer level and progression into senior quality roles are available. You'll inspect precision components using Vernier calipers, CMMs and micrometres, joining aerospace, rail and motorsport sectors.

Qualifications

• Quality Inspector or similar background.
• Experience with Vernier calipers, CMMs or micrometres preferred.
• Manufacturing/precision engineering background favored.

Responsibilities

• Training to Quality Engineer level.
• Inspect precision engineering parts to meet specifications.

• Manufacturing/Precision engineering background (preferred)
• Commutable to Preston
