Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd in Telford is seeking a Quality Inspector to join a growing metal manufacturing team. You will carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections, read engineering drawings and verify components meet customer specifications.

This role offers day and night shifts with a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway and a competitive salary. The position requires experience in metal manufacturing, proficiency with verniers and calipers, and a strong eye for detail to uphold high quality

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Quality Inspector within a metal manufacturing environment.
• Experience carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
• Inspecting components and products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Using measuring equipment including verniers, calipers and other inspection tools.
• Recording inspection data and completing quality documentation accurately.
• Identifying non-conformances and reporting quality issues.
• Working closely with production teams to maintain quality standards throughout manufacture.

Quality Inspector
Location: Telford
Pay Rate: £16.00 - £17.00 per hour
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per year
Job Type: 12 Week Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern:
Days: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm
Nights: Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm - 3:00am, Thursday 4:30pm - 2:00am
