ALPLA UK Limited is seeking a Quality Inspector – Manufacturing to join our Golborne site. Working in the Quality department, you will conduct quality control checks and identify and contain product defects during production.

You will attend shift handovers, verify CCP processes, supply defect test pieces, and ensure proper documentation is in place. The role requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to food safety and quality.

• Previous role in Quality/Compliance/Testing within a manufacturing environment.
• Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Attend shift handovers and communicate status of open non-conformances.
• Conduct CCP verification checks.
• Provide and verify defect test pieces for production lines.
• Ensure proper specifications and documentation are in place.
• Accurately record data in the CAQ system.
• Support laboratory testing for material or colour changes.
• Maintain high standards of lab and quality station housekeeping.
• Perform other duties as requested in line with main job purpose.

What you will enjoy doing

Working as part of the Quality department to conduct quality control checks and identify and contain product defects during production.

• Attends the shift handover meetings communicating the current situation and status of current open non-conformance (fault notes & isolations) which they have been involved in during the shift
• Conduct CCP verification checks.
• Supply and verify the correct defect test pieces to production lines and ensure they are collected back at the end of a production run.
• Confirm the appropriate specifications and documentation is in place and being completed correctly.
• Accurately record data in the electronic quality databases system (CAQ) - Where failings are identified escape to Management for investigation before the end of the shift.
• Conduct laboratory based analytical testing, as required to support material or colour changes during evenings
• To carry out diligently those duties as requested by the management in accordance with good Health and Safety and quality and food safety practices.
• To ensure that laboratory and Quality station housekeeping is of the highest standard at all times.
• To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may, from time to time be reasonably required and which are consistent with the "Main Purpose of the job".
