Job summary

Omega in Tewkesbury is seeking an experienced CMM Inspector to join our busy aerospace manufacturing team, supporting an ongoing programme of work.

You will perform precision inspection using CMM, review part and assembly drawings, and raise non-conformities with the team. This role requires hands-on PC-DMIS experience and a solid understanding of GD&T.

Candidates with knowledge of QMS and measuring techniques will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Hands on CMM experience (PC-DMIS preferable).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Experience in inspecting GD&T symbols.
• Experience with inspection techniques and various measuring instruments and gauges.
• Knowledge of QMS system and Microsoft applications.

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CMM Inspector to join a busy and thriving aerospace manufacturing business in Tewkesbury.

This is an urgent requirement to support an important and ongoing programme of work.

You will be responsible for inspecting parts and assemblies and working with various stakeholders to take appropriate action on non-conformities identified during inspection.

You’ll be working in highly innovative environment to support production of strategically important parts and structures for the aerospace and defence sector.
