Quality Inspector required. Do you have previous experience visually and dimensionally checking machined or fabricated components? If so, then please read on!

The Basics:

Role: Quality Inspector

Shifts Available:

Option 1:

Monday to Thursday (7.30am-4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-2.00pm)

39hrs = up to £34,000 + shift premium = £37,639.68.

Option 2:

Monday to Thursday (6.00am-2.30pm) and Fridays (6.00am-10.30am)

36.5hrs = up to £34,000 + shift premium = £34,500

Overtime: Paid at x1.5 Mon-Sat and x2 on Sundays

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect machined and fabricated components with hand held measuring tools associated with a precision engineering environment. Working in a modern purpose-built manufacturing facility for a high-end precision engineering business.

The ideal candidate / Quality Inspector may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
• Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using hand held measuring tools such as Verniers, calipers etc.

Commutable from: Derby, Ilkeston, Belper, Nottingham, Long Eaton and surrounding areas
