Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with dimensional and visual inspection is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out dimensional and visual inspection of manufactured products and components.
• Generating and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102.
• Supporting the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process.
• Assisting with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities across the business.
• Supporting approved operator audits.
• Working closely with colleagues across Quality and other departments.
• Undertaking training to become proficient as a Product Release Delegate (DSQR).

Hours: 38 Hours. Monday-Thursday: 8.00am-5.00pm & Friday: 8.00am-12.00pm

We are working with an established manufacturing business based in Salisbury, which is continuing to grow following a strong period of new business.

They are now looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.

This is a hands‑on inspection role, ideal for someone with a manufacturing background who takes pride in accuracy, attention to detail and maintaining high‑quality standards.

The Quality Inspector Role:

• Carrying out dimensional and visual inspection of manufactured products and components.
• Generating and reviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102.
• Supporting the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process.
• Assisting with root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Contributing to continuous improvement activities across the business.

About You, as a Quality Inspector:

• Regulated industry experience, ideally within aerospace inspection or quality.
• Attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection.
• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of NDT or FPI would be advantageous.
