Job summary

Latitude Recruitment is seeking a Quality Inspector for a manufacturing client in Romsey. The role offers training and development opportunities and is ideal for someone with a manufacturing background, with inspection experience being advantageous.

Responsibilities include inspecting products and assemblies, monitoring tolerances, recording data, operating laboratory testing equipment, and co-ordinating calibration of inspection tools.

Quality Inspector

Our manufacturing client based in Romsey are looking for a Quality Inspector to join their busy team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company who offer great training and development.

Inspection experience would be a major advantage for this role, however full training will be available for the right individual.

Job Description

The primary role of the Quality Inspector will involve the inspection of all products and assemblies within the company.

Key Responsibilities.

• Learn all aspects of quality control and inspection requirements for the site products.
• Inspect and monitor the quality and dimensional tolerances and record on internal databases.
• Learn how to operate all laboratory testing equipment to be able to verify product conformity to customer and international standards.
• Maintain calibration control records and be responsible for co-ordinating the calibration of inspection equipment.
• Perform Goods In inspection
• Acceptance or rejection of product quality.

Ideal Skills & Experience

• The ideal background would be to have a manufacturing background, any previous inspection experience will be an advantage.
• The person will have a great can do attitude, willingness to learn all aspects of the role

Salary/Hours/Benefits

• £31,452 - £32,948
• Bonuses paid out 1-2 times per year (based on company performance)
