Inspector

Location: Essex

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

They are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector with industry experience in motorsport, automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering to join their team on various upcoming projects.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

1. Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications for projects and bespoke work
2. Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products during production
3. Using inspection equipment, including handheld and electronic tools such as CMMs, calipers, gauges, and micrometers
4. Accepting or rejecting finished work based on quality standards
5. Collaborating with the engineering team to understand project specifications and quality requirements
6. Adhering to health and safety processes and regulations

Skills and Experience required:

• Experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive or aerospace industry
• Knowledge of inspecting machine parts
• Understanding of quality control standards and procedures

• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
