Job summary

W Talent is recruiting a Quality Inspector for an established aerospace manufacturing business in Nottingham. You will ensure components meet engineering specifications and customer requirements, performing first-off, in-process and final inspections across a 3 on/3 off days and nights shift.

You will work with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues, maintain right-first-time standards and ensure documentation is accurate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate approach.
• Good understanding of quality processes and non-conformance management.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

The Role - Quality Inspector

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring components meet the required engineering specifications, customer requirements and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You will carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections, working closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues and maintain a strong right-first-time approach. The position operates on a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern covering both days and nights.
