Eaton is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Nottingham area manufacturing team. The role focuses on in-process and final inspection of junction box products, verifying conformance to drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
You will release conforming products, support non-conformance investigations, and contribute to continuous quality improvements while ensuring compliance with ATEX/IECEx where applicable.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join our Sutton site. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for quality inspection and product acceptance activities within the Junction Box department.
The Quality Inspector will ensure products are manufactured, inspected and tested in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, company procedures and applicable regulatory standards.
Acting as the final quality gate prior to shipment, the role is responsible for the verification, acceptance and release of products, ensuring that only conforming products are delivered to customers.
The role will report directly to the departmental lead for day-to-day activities and work prioritisation, whilst receiving functional guidance, support and oversight from the Quality Team to ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Whilst the primary focus will be the Junction Box department, the role will also provide inspection support across other manufacturing areas as required to meet business needs.
