Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a major civil infrastructure project in Middleton. You will support the delivery team with independent site inspections and promote a strong quality-first culture on site.

The role involves reviewing designs and specifications, identifying non-conformances, and coaching site teams to deliver right-first-time outcomes on a long-term project.

Qualifications

• Experience working on civil engineering projects.
• Strong background in onsite quality inspections and NCR management.
• Experience with Precast concrete, piling, earthworks or surfacing.
• CSCS Card held and up-to-date.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Quality-related site experience.

We're looking for a Quality Inspector to join a major project in Middleton, supporting the delivery team through independent site inspections and promoting a strong quality-first culture across the project.

The Role

What We're Looking For

• Experience working on civil engineering projects
• Strong background in onsite quality inspections and NCR management
• Experience with one or more of the following:
  • Precast concrete
  • Piling
  • Earthworks
  • Surfacing
  • CSCS Card
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Quality-related site experience

Desirable

• Experience on major infrastructure or highways projects
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
• SMSTS
• Understanding of NEC contracts
